Meet the Owners

Emma Jones is the Proprietor of the Purley, Selsdon and Old Coulsdon nurseries, opening the first Brightsparks nursery in Purley in 1999. Emma has a BA (Hons) degree in Education, specialising in Early Years, and is a proud mother to two grown-up sons.

Helen Elliott, Emma’s sister, is the Proprietor of our New Malden and Eltham nurseries. Helen is a qualified and highly experienced Early Years Practitioner and is also a mother to two sons. Helen holds a level 3 Early Years and Education qualification. 

As a family-run, privately owned group of nurseries, both Emma and Helen are actively involved in the day-to-day life of their settings. Their hands-on approach ensures high standards of care and education, while maintaining the warm, nurturing atmosphere that families value.

They are passionate about creating a healthy, happy and stimulating environment where children feel safe, confident and able to thrive.
